SG:Luigi's Mansion 2 is a high-caliber production. Despite the considerable period of time elapsed since the first episode, the developers have packed just more of the same, but they have fleshed out the original formula by improving it from all points of view.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Review (Modojo)

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Detail is what makes Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon charming. It's in the way the plumber's Poltergust 5000 vacuum cleaner inhales tablecloths and billowing drapery, the character's comical footsteps, his humming along to the catchy soundtrack, ability to blow out candles that relight just a few moments later and the fact that he communicates to Professor E. Gadd, not with the Game Boy Horror from the 2001 GameCube predecessor, but a Nintendo DS, and the original "fat" one at that. We'd also like to think fans will smile, perhaps even chuckle, at the dialogue. Gadd says, "Our quest is taking us to a new location, Luigi! Aren't you excited?" To which Mario's green-clad bro replies with a disappointed headshake. No. No he's not.

GAMINGtruth's Shawn Long jumps into the second Luigi's Mansion installment. "Minor quibbles aside, this is yet another great Nintendo 3DS game for 2013. The pacing is perfect for a portable title, it is absolutely gorgeous to look at and is a lot of fun to play. A lengthy main quest with online play is usually a recipe for success, and this game is no different. Its a perfect -and-play title with just the right features needed for a portable adventure. Between this game and Kid Icarus return, its nice to see the old or forgotten franchises reborn on the 3DS."

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Review | GameTrailers

Added: 21.03.2013 19:18 | 1 views | 0 comments

GameTrailers: "Its been long overdue, but Luigis Mansion: Dark Moon ends up being a perfect excuse to bring Marios younger brother back in the limelight. Every haunted room seems to breathe with an inventive charm and delicate attention to detail that make this game one of the best reasons to own a 3DS. Catching ghosts is a rewarding occupation, and the vast amount of hidden collectables could have you fighting to exorcise your inner completionist. With the addition an unexpectedly inventive and enjoyable multiplayer experience, 3DS owners will be hard-pressed not to cut Luigi just a little more respect."
